I started a Reboot today.

A few months ago I watched Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead.  And I thought… with all my issues maybe I should try that.  So I bought a juicer in January and it sat on the kitchen counter for a month.

This past weekend though, I made the commitment to jump into the reboot. I spent an obscene amount of money on fruits & veggies! They are taking up my entire fridge and the kitchen table! I pulled out my printout of the Juicing Plus 15 Day Plan and got to work.

My husband started a new job today and decided he wanted to juice, a little bit, as well. So he picked out two juices for the week, and I made a sample of those last night. Call it my practice run.  I made him Joe’s Mean Green and Sunrise. I loved the Sunrise!  My husband said he could try to get used to them… Hahaha!

Last night I prepped everything for today. Juices, salads, fruits, etc. I don’t have time to do all thisfirst thing in the morning… I’d never make it to work!

On the Juicing Plus 15 Day Plan, it is 5 days of eating and juicing fruits and vegetables followed by 10 days of juice only.

Today’s  schedule:

When You Wake Up          8-12oz of hot lemon & ginger water

Breakfast                           Berry Apple Cinnamon Bake

Morning Snack                  Carrot Apple Lemon Juice

Lunch                                Reboot Green Salad, Carrot & Sweet Potato “Fries”

Afternoon Snack               Carrot Apple Lemon Juice

Dinner                               Kale Avocado Salad w/ Vinaigrette, Carrot &   Sweet Potato “Fries” Sauteed Green w/ Garlic

Before Bed                       Herbal Tea

The cinnamon bake was super sweet! Kinda surprising because there isn’t any sugar added! The morning water is not my favorite… and the Carrot Apple Lemon Juice was really good! I’ll try to keep you updated over the next 15 days. Wish Me Luck!

Want to find out more about a Reboot and Get Started on your own journey?

One of the things I liked about Joe’s Reboot, is that the website gives you all the tools you need to get started. Guides and recipes through every step! The only thing they don’t include is the juicer and the ingredients. They do, however, give you suggestions on how to pick a juicer, which is nice. I went on Craigslist and got the Breville BJE200XL Compact Juice Fountain 700-Watt Juice Extractor for $75. So I saved about $25, not including the shipping. The juicer also came with the 101 Juice Recipes book (normally $25)! There are also options to join a Guided Reboot and tips on exercise.

  1. This design is steller! You definitely know how to
keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog
(well, almost…HaHa!) Excellent job. I really enjoyed what you
had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
    Too cool!
